Points BFPA Does Not Do
1. BFPA does not own produce. It is owned by the farmer until it is sold to the buyer by a live auctioneer. BFPA is only an agent between the buyer and seller.
2. BFPA does not wash produce.
3. BFPA does not store produce.
4. BFPA does not have cooling facilities.
5. BFPA does not have packing facilities.
6. BFPA does not handle produce, but will provide the farmer a clean place in the shade where he can display the produce until it is sold.
7. BFPA is actually an extension of the farm where the farmers can display their product, and buyers meet growers, buy what they need and return to their business in an orderly fashion.
